Graduated
from the Danish Technical University (DTU) with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialist in, design of mechanical system.
interned at MAN Energy Solutions in the tools department. I worked with 3D
modeling and drawings using Siemens NX CAD software. I also saw production and
assembly lines, created and executed experiments.
Bachelor's thesis project

WHAT
- Design and program a self-adjusting landing gear prototype for a drone, so that the drone can land on an uneven surface with up to 150 mm in height differences while maintaining the drone attitude
HOW
- Designed the landing gear in SolidWorks, applying DFM and DFF principles for 3D printing and laser cutting.
- Calculated landing gear dynamics, material properties, strength analysis, and torque.
- Programmed an Arduino Nano with distance sensors, batteries, buttons, and actuators to control the landing gear.
- Implementing a closed-loop regulation control technique to maintain drone attitude after touchdown.
RESULTS
- The landing gear was able to adjust and land on uneven terrain with up to 180mm in height differences while maintaining the drone attitude.
